The 2014 Maple Grove football team enjoyed the best season in school history on the field. The Crimson also showed their academic prowess as they were selected as an Academic All-State Team by the Minnesota Football Coaches Association. The 84 members of the football team had an average GPA of 3.26.
Senior Ben Shoults received academic all-state honors and second team AP all-state as an offensive lineman. Senior Adam Brant was first team AP all-state as a defensive back. Junior Isaac Collins was named third-team All-State as an all-purpose player.
